Allen Larson is the former President and co-founder of Prodigy Management Inc., Executive Producer of P2 films,founder of The Actors Gym Los Angeles, and author of the internationally distributed book, Acting For Commercials
Allen is a graduate of the prestigious San Francisco Conservatory or Music and during his 15 plus years as a performer, he appeared with artists like YoYo Ma, Bobby McFarrin, Bob Hope, Vic Damone, Diahan Carroll, Maynard Ferguson, Itzhak Perlman, The San Francisco Symphony, Eric Matthews and many more, and was a featured soloist throughout California.
He left the music profession in 1991 to continue his passion for the entertainment industry as a talent manger and producer. Over the years, Allen has headed divisions for Michael Productions, The Performing Artists Group, XQ Model and Talent Agency, Pascucci Productions and was President of Prodigy Management Inc. As a manager, his clients stared in projects like Far From Home (with Drew Barrymore), The Prom (with Jennifer Jason-Leigh),Nightmare On Elm Street 4, Tripwire, The Demolitionist, Groove, Rat Race, Saved By The Bell, Wings, X-Files, Cover Me, Roswell, Drew Carry Show, 3rd Rock From The Sun, The Practice, to name a few. Because of his understanding of the craft and knack for solid negotiation, Allen has also been involved in the casting of five feature films, three television pilots and founded P2 Films, the production arm of Prodigy Management.
Allen is the Executive Producer of The Attic Expeditions (Seth Green, Andras Jones, Ted Raimi, Jeffrey Combs,Alice Cooper) a feature film now available at Blockbuster and Hollywood video. He produced the feature filmTheCampusHouse.com (Shannon Nelson, Paul Hayes, Jason Hammer) that has been featured in film festivals across the country. Allen was also producer for Vampire Survivor (Paul Hayes, Scott Morris, Curtis Strong), an industry spoof that has been featured on the Tribecca Traveling Film Festival. Mr. Larson Executive Produced the Pilot “Psychic Ambush” with renown psychic Mike Miratore. Allen is currently working in Reality Show Concept Development with Casting Director / Producer, Dana Tomsic.
As a result of his broad experience in casting, talent management, film and television production, and development of new and upcoming talent, Allen has become a sought after speaker and teacher for actors and filmmakers nationwide.He has been a featured speaker at the International Presentation of Performers for several years. While his schedule allows limited engagements outside Los Angeles, Mr. Larson continues to be dedicated to teaching winning techniques to talented actors where ever they may live.
WINDY NAVARRO
Ms. Navarro graduated from California State University in Northridge with a Bachelor’s of Arts in Theatre Arts with an additional emphasis on costume and make-up design. In 2001, Ms. Navarro performed as a lead actress with a traveling Theatre Education group that toured national to raise awareness of cultural diversity and the dangers of gang violence. In addition, she has worked as head make-up coordinator for independent films and stage productions. Ms. Navarro also serves as the International Presentation of Performer’s Director for JRP Pleasanton. IPOP! has helped launch the careers of many clients at JRP. Under her direction she has helped to procure the award for the International Presentation of Performers TOP ACADEMY of the YEAR (1st runner up and 2nd runner up) at the last two IPOP! events.
SHAI WILSON
Shai Wilson, a bay area native, first debuted on stage at the age of 3 dancing for Jensen’s dancing academy and playing the flute with the school band. In the 12th grade Shai was scouted by a local model agency and with the encouragement of her family and friends she pursued modeling. Shai Wilson booked her first paid print job within the first 5 months of modeling while taking test shots. She soon began booking print ads for designers and modeling in runway shows. Shai has been in runway shows for Ed Hardy, Macy’s, Ann Taylor, Chico’s, Pink Stripes, Urban Outfitters, Anthropology, Santana Row, Zoe Bikini, MAC, David’s Bridal, and The American Red Cross. Shai’s wish came true when she booked her first front cover of The San Jose Metro and made her hosting debuted in San Francisco. In addition to her modeling achievements Shai has stared in 5 independent films featured as the supporting role and is debuting in her first TV commercial for Bad Boys Bail Bonds.
PAVEL RUDINSKI
Pavel Rudinski is a Meisner trained actor and a graduate of The New York Conservatory for Dramatic Arts. A theater and television trained actor he has performed in numerous stage plays. In addition, Pavel has appeared in numerous national on-camera commercials. He has performed in plays such as “Indian Wants the Bronx” which was Al Pacino’s first stage debut.
JUSTIN PARUCHA
Justin originally began his career as a musician studying music theory with emphasis on the tenor saxophone and trained operatically for voice. He has competed and performed all through out California in various jazz/symphonic bands and solo vocal performances. He began his acting career in theatre with lead roles in West Side Story, A Chorus Line, FAME!, Miss Saigon, Les Miserables and more with theatre production companies from Los Angeles and the San Francisco Bay Area. Justin also won many awards including a nomination for Best Supporting Actor by American Musical Theatre winning scholarships to various acting conservatories and acting schools where he studied intensively on breathing techniques, vocal work and body movement for film/tv and theatre. Eventually he moved on to roles in independent films and appearances in tv shows. Occasionally he has hosted events including California Music Education Association competitions and has been invited as a guest speaker for various leadership and community events. Currently, he co-directs and produces fashion and tv shows for Be That Kid Productions in the South Bay and is a House Manager for the award winning San Jose Repertory Theatre.
JAMIE PIAZZA
Jamie is a singer/songwriter from San Jose, California. She is a third year voice student at Cal State University East Bay. She has been a featured soloist in three bands at Shelter Cove Community Church in Modesto, while also mentoring and teaching high school students vocal technique. She has directed and produced worship bands from start to finish and has performed on stage in musicals such as Cinderella, The Wizard of Oz and played “Marian the Librarian” in The Music Man.
